Update from Caleb's Mumsie

Mumsie is in Wellfleet, returning to pack up things, so that I can spend the next month with Caleb. Kai, Max and Jennie are by my side and we feel strong and united and determined to help Caleb through this. But it is really Caleb who is helping us. His strength, his love, and his zanny character holds us all together. I am convinced that because of all of the energy and positiveness that has been sent by all of you is what will carry him through. Please keep sending your love.
----Love Mumsie

Dear All,

Kyle, Quinn, Ellis and I are here in Nova Scotia. A place where the almighty ocean meets the shore and the green meadows stretch into the pine forests. Please know that Caleb is the first and last thing we think of as begin and end our days. We are holding- Caleb, Jan, Sharyn and the rest of the gang in our hearts.

Sending you much love and strength of will from here, Polli

Who couldn't love Caleb?
Although I don't know his family , I spent 10 years with Richard Blakeley who introduced me to Caleb when they first started working together on the flats.Over the years Richard counted on Caleb for so much and they never let each other down.
In the summer of 1993 at the age of 13, my daughter , Chelsea, suffered blunt head trauma after being hit by a car in Provincetown. Her life ended in Mass General's intensive care unit 24 hours later.Richard was there through it all and now finds himself in the same state of shock and sadness over Caleb.
Prayer and empathy are all I have to offer but I know how powerful they can be.They carried me when I thought I couldn't go another day with such incredible heartache. I have since come to believe that every thought is a prayer...and if that is REALLY TRUE then there is no end to the healing power of love that can find its way to Caleb's heart just like he found his way to all of ours.
What a great guy...what an irresistable spirit. My prayers are for Caleb and everyone who loves him.

Dear Mumsie, All us old folks are holding you deeply in our hearts, Brailsford, Jean, Mac and Georgie, Gracie and Simone, even Jane and Alice, etc. We had special prayers at St. James the Fisherman for Caleb on Sunday and announced the Fund. MGH is the best; we're really glad you're there. There will be hard times ahead but we're with you all the way. Best to Jan, Kai and Max.

I just wanted to add my thoughts and prayers to the list of well wishers. Tom, Matt, Jeff, Chema and I are praying for Caleb and know the power of prayer and love will pull him through. Sharon, as a mom that has seen her "little boy" go through a horrific injury I can truly tell you that with love, humor and lots of prayer amazing things can happen. Just remember to take care of yourself so you can take care of Caleb. My thoughts are with you, xoLori

Caleb,Family & Friends

I said a prayer for you today,

And know God must have heard.

I felt the answer in my heart

Although He spoke no word.

I didn't ask for wealth or fame,

I knew you wouldn't mind.

I asked Him to send treasures

Of a far more lasting kind.

I asked that He'd be near you

At the start of each new day,

To grant you health and blessings

And friends to share your way.

I asked for happiness for you

In all things great and small,

But it was for His loving care

I prayed the most of all.
