On the fourth of July, 2007 Caleb Potter was involved in a skateboarding accident.
He suffered serious injuries and continues to need all of our positive thoughts and prayers.

Updates Pictures!!!

I am so sorry that it took me so long to post these pictures. Before I take pictures of Caleb, I always asked him if it is okay and I actually think he enjoys these little photo shoots. He has always been a ham infront of a camera. After, he likes to flip through the pictures on my camera and check them out for himself. I will bring my camera up with me when I visit him, and update everyone with pictures when possible.

Snuggle Time!!!

Kisses on the cheek!!!

Caleb and Mumsie on the Charles River

Is he not the cutest thing ever!!!

Having lunch outside and trying to get Caleb to smile.

Mumsie (still beautiful as always) , and Caleb (giving the "jag" sign)

Jennie,
Thanks for the pics, Hun! I LOVE that one(2nd one down) of you and Caleb. When he kissed you on the cheek, and was looking at you, YOU COULD FEEL THE LOVE..Hehe :)

And I also loved the one of Caleb and Sharyn. Caleb is still up to mischief, and making the Fleet hand gesture I see...Hahaha. Great to see him well.

You know how magazines and movies showcae pictures of the "perfect family" and the public tends to be envious of how happy they seem to be? Forget them! It is so unbelievably obvious in those pics that is the PERFECT FAMILY, loving, loving, and more loving! Your smiles are warming, kisses soothing, and your faces are absolutely radiant in those pictures! Peace and love.

Every year my love and I head from New York City to Wellfleet for the Oyster Festival. When I checked the Web site today I found an image of Caleb, clicked on it and then came to this blog. I spent today reading entries and comments. My heart soared and broke 10 times at least. I learned such important things today. I learned of courage, compassion, endurance, freedom. I have always known that Wellfleet is a magic place. Having grown up outside of Boston I visited often. I spent so many fun days and nights at the Beachcomber. But now I realize what is really special about your magical hamlet. Sharyn, Caleb, Max, Kai and all of you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I am looking forward to our trip to Wellfleet in a few weeks and will pay a special visit to Caleb's booth at the festival and the Town Lawn. I wish you strength Sharyn and I wish you peace, love, patience, health and laughter Caleb.

Jennie, great photos! It's the small miraculous things we see in the pictures that make us so hopeful. The emotions, the hand signs and the being there in the moment that Caleb communicates is miraculous. Caleb we are with you.

It is good to see Caleb outside. It makes the day when he will return home seem much closer. He looks much healthier than in the previous pictures. I think that we should all continue to support the belief that he is capable of a full recovery. He deserves nothing less from us. He has fought courageously for his life when others would have succumbed. He is prepared to meet the challenges ahead. Let's all try to be as brave as Caleb in the months ahead.
