On the fourth of July, 2007 Caleb Potter was involved in a skateboarding accident.
He suffered serious injuries and continues to need all of our positive thoughts and prayers.
This blog is to serve as a space for updates on Caleb's journey of recovery.

Oysters, Community & Volunteers oh my!

Dear friends,
This blog is about Caleb...but it is also about the power of community. As you know, the Oysterfest is soon hitting the beautiful town of Wellfleet. The word on the street is that there is still a serious need for volunteers. If you're not already booked for the weekend of October 13th and 14th, check out http://www.wellfleetoysterfest.org/howtohelp.html
and consider signing up for a 2 or 4 hour shift. There are many ways that you could help out and...it's a blast! There are benefits for the 4-hour-volunteers: a meal ticket and a t-shirt.
Thanks everybody!

OYSTERFEST!!!! YEAH!!!!!!

I can't volunteer this year but I'm surely going to stop by the Caleb Potter booth.

I want to thank everyone who moved the things for the prayer circle. I'm sure it looks beautiful!

How's Boston ladies and gents?

Such gorgeous pictures! Maybe an item at the Caleb Potter booth should be a calendar of all the handsome lads of Wellfleet...? Any volunteers for that? Haha! I think Wellfleet men could serve Sports Ilustrated models a little competition, don't you think? Love to the world!

I can't commit to a special time due to work but plan to grab a trash bag and help with the clean up. There is rarely an event that so encompasses all generations and traditions as the oyster fest does for the shellfish community. I am thankful just to witness such an "authentic" lifestyle . How can you beat having a chance to party in town and see everyone, check out the cool wares and artists at work? Eating the world's best Oysters, yum! ann m

Hello to the Potter Family and the long road you have been on. It is hard to understand how or what you have been going through unless a person has been through it and i have. Not to the extent you have but i know the fear and long hours. Prayer has been the upholding thing that has gotten me through and i pray for you and your son and family. My wife fell out of the car many years ago and had a blood clot in the brain and it caused her to be out of her right mind for a time. She had her blood thined for a week and she was lucky to have no brain damage. I know you have heard so much but if i dont say anything it doesnt let you know i have been thinking of you.
