okay okay I will write in public...about the nurse's outfit--there was one at a store where I live--at least I heard it was-It is called the Love Doctor--and I have already thanked a nurse friend of mine !!

Boston is a beautiful city--even a farm girl that has THE MOST FABULOUS GARDENS can find the beautiful ones across from the BFA museum that people create themselves...watch the ducks in the Commons--breathe in each new experience-funny how it is as scary as when you watch a toddler do something new...so we continue to grow even tho we think we are well, older....think of how many peoples' lives have changed for this experience...Caleb has a lot to teach us and probably teach himself...and most of all Sharyn, continue writing. There's nothing more healing, refreshing, relaxing, inspiring than a delicious bag lunch eaten at the Isabella Gardner Museum, in the center, sitting alone, listening to the chamber music from area college musicians, smelling the fragrance of the flowers...............

call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.

***I love this quote and I think it is so perfect for everyone in this extended family of Calebs.

Handsome sons and beautiful mom... you sound a little more relaxed. A much welcome feeling I imagine. I know Caleb has a ways to go, but I am so very happy to hear all the good news. We will continue praying here in central MA. I think of you so often. Just a distant friend of a friend I am. But your words touch me so profoundly. I am thankful for you and for Caleb. I wish you all weren't going through this difficult time, but I believe everything happens for a reason, we may never know it, but it does. You are helping such a plethora of people to learn and to grow and to just Be. Reading the words coming from your heart makes me want to be a better mom to my son, there's always room for improvement. I hope I can inspire him as you have your sons. I am so impressed by their dedication to you and your family. You are so incredibly blessed.

Hats off to you Ms. Sharyn.
God Bless.

p.s. What to do in beantown?...If you're ever in the North End, Massimino's Italian Restaurant has fabulously delicious cuisine. Then stop by Mike's pastry on Hanover St. for a scrumptious dessert. Enjoy!

Dear Sharyn,

Good News.....our boy is getting better day by day, inch by inch. Thanks to all the wonderful folks there at MGH. You are right, the folks behind the scenes are the unsung heros...true dedication. My Mari was a 2 lb preemie, and she/we spent three months at Baystate in Springfield, not knowing if she would live or die..spinal taps, blood transfusions, blood lines in her teeny, tiny head..well, you now know the routine. I never saw such dedication, caring and compassion. I thought, if all people who were "ill" were treated with this tender loving care, there would be a whole lot more healing going on. I believe that to this day. I am grateful for their diligent care of Caleb, your sweet boy. And, for their care of you and your family. You are so very fortunate to be surrounded by love.....and Love will bring your home.

Sweet Dreams, all our Love this night (and always) to you and Caleb and all your dear family.

Ah, The faces I love! Miss being in your yard- with you. Actually, now that September is here, there are many faces I miss. Fleet is becoming its weekday ghostown as it often does in the fall. Caleb- get you ass back here soon. We're getting bored and you're the only one who ever gets us out of the house! Sharyn, perhaps you could look to art as your boys have. Its a great way to spend the time and you'll surprize yourself of your hidden talents. Caleb will love to see what mumsie can do when shes not chasing chickens and fertilizing. Your free time is a gift, just like knowing your amazing family.
Creativity & Blessings~ A New day xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Dear Sharyn,
If you can, drive up to Concord and sit at Walden Pond.. It is not like sitting on the dunes looking out over the rolling ocean, but it is water and in a different way ever so peaceful.. Thoreau wrote this when he was there....

" I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear; nor did I wish to practise resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner and reduce it to its lowest terms, and, if it proved to be mean, why then to get the whole and genuine meanness of it.. Or if it were sublime, to know it by experience, and be able to give a true account of it in my next excursion"

As always, sending love & peace your way..
