Sky, This is beautiful! Communications must be one of your many gifts, along with dancing. I remember you dancing with Lisa B's World Music ensemble, and at the Clothesline concerts at Nauset. If anyone can dance Caleb well, it's you!... Even all the way from Denmark. I hope your pictures lighten everyone's hearts up at MGH. Janet eastham mom

It's 2 am and I just came home after a long night of dancing. The band was incredible, the music was pounding, the energy was flowing. I closed my eyes and thought of each one of you and held you close to me. Sometimes I can't tell the difference between my smiles and my tears. They seem to be erupting out of me with equal strength these days. I bubble with pride, I curl up with sadness, I scream with confusion, I explode with excitement. Most importantly I open myself to love. Sending arm loads of love to you all this night (readers and non-readers of this blog). I am with you! xo Sky
Hi Sky, You are one incredible person for all your wonderful work on this website/blog/photos etc... You make us smile under these uncertain times with Caleb. Thanks so-so much! The Young Family
i love that comment on how sky gives us uplift when we are starving for it. it made me think how she has really set this stage for all of us. up here suspended above reality in our own place uplifted and connected. we couldn't have done this without you sky. i think of you and i feel like i do when i really hear the music and dance and that feeling, that connection, passes through everything and reaches into my soul and leaves a path of joyful tears. tracy
sat. night -15 sept Dear Caleb, It rained and drizzled and rained for most of the day and the late afternoon dog walk smelled like the beginning of fall. You know..., - the way the season shifts with no regard to the calendar and how suddenly you taste fall before it gets here... That is how it was today- late afternoon, the tide turning, the wind shifting. The dog was sniff, sniffing while the sandy woods hinted of cooler days and dark came on towards 7. Now it's night and the wind blusters. Clear and chilly with a million stars. Super beautiful, alive and kicking evey which way - and so, the salt sea air, the rich earth, is coming at ya - kissing you, and landing with windy smack !!!!!!!!
there are some amazing people in those pictures - old friends i still hold dear in my heart and memories, classmates i wished i'd had the time to know better, faces of strangers i feel like i already know. in every picture, energy, happiness, smiles, positivity, love. is there any other way to live the life we are given? i too will go dancing tonight, and send every bit of energy straight to the good pirate Yellowbeard. thanks so much for this collage, Sky. as always, you're amazing! Caleb truly is loved by so many, because of the love he has always given so freely to others.
Thanks Sky, I started to send a comment yesterday after reading and feeling Sharyn's pain. I just couldn't think of a way to say, DON'T WORRY. But...a picture is worth a thousand words and this collage was worth a zillion.
Sharyn, our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are all on this roller coaster ride together. Hang on and give a good scream once in a while...it helps.
Dear Caleb, I will hold you and your family in my heart and mind again today with profound love, caring, faith and hope. You are all so so beautiful!!! I have just moved to Wellfleet and hope you have room for one more pirate. (can women be pirates?)
sky-o how beautiful is this posting!! thank you for putting all of those smiling faces together for us all. i think we need to do a potent prayer circle for our boy. waddaya think folks? let's get up the gusto for a real special one..maybe around a fire? call me if y'all have interest. 349 7386.
Already posted to Sky...now.... Caleb....I se these people around you, I was at Fleet in July and saw the out pouring of love. I am inspired, yet humbled by all of this. Come on Caleb, FIGHT, we are all behind you, from across the nation (and the seas) I want to meet you when I come back to Fleet next year......at the Comber perhaps....???? Good thoughts, peace, and love be with you and your "family" which seems to be growing by the moment Love ya all
I'm praying that the silence between yesterday's and today's blog update means that Sharyn is letting others take care of her today. I pray that she has shared the mantle of responsibility with those closest to her so that she can build just enough reserves to carry on. I pray that the love and tender care that nourishes all of us, can nourish her. I pray that she feels the loving arms of Caleb, his brothers and the family and friends who surround her. Namaste. Lesa
thank u sky....those pictures are soo amazing and every single person in it is soo special to caleb in a different way. i miss u so much and thank u for always being there for me when i needed you
Sharyn, As I read the blog everyday I gasp for air overwehmed by your raw outpouring of emotions full of insight, love , faith and gratefullnes. Although I only remember Caleb from the coop as a little boy I feel now I know him through you. Until this day I have been ok with just standing by reading the blog from you and comments of all the others in this great community and beyond but today I feel commpelled to send my thanks to Caleb for showing me what real courage is and to you for bringing us all together as one in hope,in prayer and pure love for Caleb.
Thanks Sky! That's a great calauge. Glad i saw you when i was at sicday. That day was beautiful. Didn't find a suit but enjoyed spectacle more than ever. Love u. grace.

A BIG Thank You
In this season of giving thanks and celebrating family togetherness, I wish to extend a warm thank you to everyone who has been involved in a myriad of ways with my son, Caleb Potter, and his recovery. On July 4, he was involved in a skateboarding accident in our little hometown of Wellfleet on Cape Cod, that caused him serious injuries. He came home from Spaulding Rehab in Boston just before Thanksgiving. Through the blog we started: http://calebpotter.blogspot.com/ the Wellfleet community of support stretched far and wide across the country, and in fact, throughout parts of the world, with many people offering prayers and words of wisdom. We could not have come so far without this legion of support from all of you, in Wellfleet and beyond. We are sincerely grateful.
