Wellfleet, Sweet Wellfleet
In an article recently published in the Daily Summit out in Colorado, Jeffrey Bergeron wrote "If a town could be judged by its collective kindness, Wellfleet could be designated the compassion capital of the East Coast."

Thanks to you for posting those two surf photos...in anticipation of our Caleb Hoot Surf Movie Night at the Library...those two pics were taken in wellfleet...either at Newc's or at 4mile ...September 14/15th 2006....I have 78 more of THOSE....and some locally filmed DVD footage...promised....thanks to you, sky-o, for getting to Denmark in time to post the notice for our Wellfleet Caleb Hoot surf movies for US to see!!! whewie! what technology in the hands of.....well ...all of us!!!Hippies with keyboards....oooops that just refers to me I guess!!....Wish you could make it to see some surf footage....allways a good thing when the ocean is sorta FLAT...with "tropical possibilities" ...I also have 20 minutes of George Greenough's footage that was put to Pink Floyd's ECHOES back in 1969???Pink Floyd said SURE use our music...if we can have a copy of your footage, george...only make sure you turn up our music loud!!!An incredible combination!!!!see the rest of you there...Bring Lotsa Hoots for Caleb!!! light!ly....ch/dad....the Fish quadded Kneeboarder of Paine Hollow
Sorry we couldn't post anything before it went down (for those of you who somehow didn't hear about it) but Tuesday night, at the going away jag for Mikey D and Katie, Sky, and Caleb Portnoy we got a few barrels together and threw a bennefit keg. Totally off the books, non-legit, needless to say. Aaaaanywho, I saw someone there taking pics, can't remember who-- anyone got a theory as to why?-but I would love copies- timbobb@gmail.com.
Dear Sky..Thanks for posting all those beautiful pitures. For those of us who live in the "other" part of the state and can't get down for all the great happenins', it makes us feel like we have a birds eye view of the goings on. The pictures are really super, and everybody appears to be having a grand 'ole time..I'll bet they were! Thanks for your time and energy....it means alot to all of us. Have a great weekend.
