On the fourth of July, 2007 Caleb Potter was involved in a skateboarding accident.
He suffered serious injuries and continues to need all of our positive thoughts and prayers.
This blog is to serve as a space for updates on Caleb's journey of recovery.

Sunday Matinée

The links for an incredible three-part movie were delivered to my inbox yesterday.
Shaye Cavanaugh and Kai Potter compiled this collection of footage from the last few weeks in Wellfleet. The words and images are for Caleb but I'm sure they will touch your heart just as much as they will his.

**Please be aware that Part Two is RATED ARRRRR (R) for use of profanities and may not be suitable for some of our younger (or older) blog viewers.**

Uh oh, the secret is out. Wellfleet is a pretty special place! Not only does it have the natural beauty, but beautiful people full of love and LIFE. Can't put any price on that. If a community has a foundation of young people like this, then the future is boundless. We thank you for the pictorial journey which gives life to the images already painted by all of you who post here. Continued blessings of healing and prayer sent your way.

...with the family and friends he has, and how you all love him (not just how much you love him, but also how gloriously you express it)...Caleb is the richest man on the planet, and it's the best kind, most valuable kind of wealth.
These movies show that so beautifully and clearly, I can't even imagine how much they will fill his heart and soul!
Praise and admiration to Caleb's Crew...you guys are amazing, one and all!

We just came back from our vacation in Wellfleet. So touching to see a whole community coming together for a friend. After a week Caleb has become our friend too. We send him good thought and pray for his recovery.

This whole experience of watching this community come together to support Caleb has been pretty life affirming-especially knowing that so many people who have posted comments and are following this saga are not people who even know Caleb other than through this blog (myself included)Wow...I got goosebumps watching the time lapse of downtown Wellfleet with the prayer circle forming...what a gift to Caleb and to all of us- Thank you.
