The Wellfleet Oysterfest was this weekend and as we have all experienced or heard by now, it was a great success. There was music, dancing, drinking, eating, crafting, playing, selling, buying and a whole lot more taking place. The booth for Caleb was arranged by Shaye and was held down over the weekend by he, Katy and Jennie with the help of many other "tribe" members. Thanks for the pictures! I cried all weekend because I was 6,000 miles away in paradise and missing my beloved oysterfest! I hope you all had a few raw oysters, a few stiff drinks, and great times for all of us who are thinking fondly of you who were there and those of us who couldn't be there. Love and prayers that all is well in my little home town Fleet. :)

Barbara Jordan
WELLFLEET — Barbara Anne Jordan, 44, passed away Oct. 11, 2007, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident Wednesday evening, in Laconia, N.H.
She is the beloved daughter of Ruth F. Jordan of Wellfleet, Mass.
She is survived by her sisters Debra and her husband Raymond Gaspar, of Deer Isle, Maine. and Dorothy Johnson and her husband Erik, of Brewster.
She had five nephews, Walker and Jacob Gaspar, Erik and Jeffrey Johnson and Cory Jordan.
She also leaves her companion, Mike Hanlon of Laconia, N.H.
She touched many lives and had thousand of friends. She will be missed by many.
A celebration of her life will be on, Oct. 28, at 1 p.m., at the Wellfleet Pier.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the, 'Barbara Jordan Memorial Fund' via Cape Cod Five .
