All I can say is 'A picture is worth a thousand words' but in this case is worth a gazillion words!!!!

Thank you for all the hard work that went in to sharing this with those who were there in spirit.

Kevin, the video was awesome.

The pictures, what can I say, everyone is happy, just as they should be on the 4th of July.

To sum up my rambling are lyrics from Nickelback's Photograph

'Look at this photograph
Everytime I do it makes me laugh
Everytime I do it makes me...'

YARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! Caleb, you are the bestest captain a crew could ever ask for...even if you did pirate my sword! Be expecting retaliation for that one lad. I had a blast on the 4th with Yellowbeard and all my fellow crew members. I cannot quite believe it has been a year. I was so content to be watching the sunset at the end of the parade day, feeling peaceful, tired and happy to be alive. I love you all.....Sky, thank you for those lovely pictures.

Well me hearties-----looks like a good time was had by all and that it truly was a happy 4th.

I am just sorry I couldn't be there to join in the fun and watch the parade not to mention perhaps being able to meet some of you "bloggers." Oh well, another time.

The photos are really great and it's nice to see the happy smiling faces of daughter and friends and,of course, the Captain of all Captains, Yellowbeard. Keep the wind at your back and god speed.

My best wishes and love,

Penny

You were radiant and proud, just as I imagined. What an amazing celebration, and we felt privileged to witness it.

My family and I were so thrilled to meet you and Caleb. I sat at The Juice drinking my tea and watching Caleb and the whole clan. It's so touching and rare to see an incredibly close, loving, loyal group of twenty-somethings. That's not something you find many places any more, and I regret my kids may not experience that in their lives. Makes me want to pack up and move there permanently!

Sharyn, Julia was absolutely thrilled to meet Caleb. She has worried about him and inquired about his progress constantly over this past year. She went to bed with a smile on her face and asked, "Do you think I'm the only 9-year old girl who got to hug Caleb at the parade?" Please tell him it made her day to see him so well.

It made my day to see you so happy. I've thought of you so many times this year. I know it's not over for you, and this tragedy is now engrained in who you are, for the good and bad. But what a milestone to have reached.

Congratulations to you all for hanging in there through a true bitch of a year!

Hope to bump in to you again over the summer.

Monica

I am so glad I could be there for the 4th. It was great to see all the faces I had not seen in so long and to see Yellowbeard win a much deserved 1st place. I only wish I did not have to go back to NY so soon. I am already looking at my calendar trying to find another few days I can jet back up to wellfleet. Until then know you are in my thoughts. I will send you a CD with my flicks and video ASAP. Sharyn, next time I get up there i hope we can get some more time to hang. I am so glad you made it to the fireworks! Give Leb a big kiss for me.
Love,
Kim
