On the fourth of July, 2007 Caleb Potter was involved in a skateboarding accident.
He suffered serious injuries and continues to need all of our positive thoughts and prayers.
This blog is to serve as a space for updates on Caleb's journey of recovery.

A Nice Initiative...

Hi everyone,
The following message is from 'Susan in Portsmouth'. Please take a look. love, sky

This request went out a month or so ago and had a sweet but limited response - I'd like to try again:

Wondering if all of the far-flung members of this tribe might contribute photos of themselves for a virtual family album...I'd be happy to collect and paste if any of you would like to donate. I'm a visual person and would relish images to go with all of your names and beautiful words....thinking that some of the rest of you might feel the same. We are all blessed on a regular basis with fabulous pictures of Caleb and Sharyn and Jennie, et al. - I'd like to offer them a small glimpse of their extended family of friends and well-wishers - perhaps as a "Happy Holidays - Welcome Home" gift!

My email is ssavory@comcast.net. If you have something to send - please write "Caleb" in the subject line.

I hope today was a good day Sharyn. Does Caleb enjoy snow? Do you have a nice big window in his room?
Prayers as always from the Upper Cape, (although my heart is always be a bit bigger when I am on the Lower Cape).
A candle lit each night and a silent prayer said..

Hope things are well in the east today.

Susan: This is a great idea. Will e-mail a photo by the end of the weekend.

Sharyn, Caleb, Jennie, & company: I think about you many, many times a day. I'm with you. I haven't stopped sending positive thoughts & prayers your way. Stay strong.

And to all Potters, Lindseys, Jennie, and my fellow bloggers: Happy Holidays and best wishes for a happy and peaceful New Year.

I am also looking for a decent photo. Since I take all the pictures, there aren't many with me in it, and when there are, there are lots of other people around me. Hard to find one of just me, but I will try.

I could send one of my dog?

Anyway, a great idea!

Sharyn and Caleb and family, thinking of you as always.

sharyn- amazing warrior-mama-healer-teacher....

I live fairly close to Boston and am just hanging out this holiday week, so I wanted to offer to play elf, and be at your beckon call... if there is anything you need big or small, errands run, whatever... please don't hesitate to ask.

Meanwhile I think of you every day and send love/energy/healing/prayers to Caleb, your family, the doctors and nurses, and the magnificent community that holds us all.

blessings--
sara

I love this idea -- OK Sharyn, if you request it, you get it. I sent a picture of me taken this summer in Wellfleet -- Mayo Beach I believe. You will see how much I love your home. Thanks Susan for doing the work behind a lovely idea! Looking forward to seeing the cyber-family together. Love and peace to all -- Lisa K.
