A BIG Thank You
In this season of giving thanks and celebrating family togetherness, I wish to extend a warm thank you to everyone who has been involved in a myriad of ways with my son, Caleb Potter, and his recovery. On July 4, he was involved in a skateboarding accident in our little hometown of Wellfleet on Cape Cod, that caused him serious injuries. He came home from Spaulding Rehab in Boston just before Thanksgiving. Through the blog we started:

Hi Sharyn,
It was really wonderful to see you and spend a little bit of time with you,Caleb and Kai(Max was home).Wish it could have been longer but you had the wedding to go to and I see that it was a great time had by all and the weather held up.
My visit was extended a couple of days because of "Omar" which was a threat to St.John on the day I was to return--but bitter sweet as it was I got to spend one day at Oyster Fest and it was a cold one. Thanks,by the way,for the use of that nifty scarf which really came in handy.
Amy and I got to hang out with Kevin,his Mom Audrey and John at the liquor store for a few moments one brisk afternoon altho' according to John it wasn't really that chilly--not for him of course. I survived because it was a nice sunny day and I was in the middle of the rays.
The toastmaster Club sounds like it will be great fun and I wish I could be there to join in.
Caleb looks wonderful and is as sweet as Amy said he always has been. I hadn't met him because last year my visit was a couple of weeks after the accident. You are amazing as is your whole family and the love that surrounds you all is obvious and shines thru with an extremely warm glow.
So until the next time we meet I send my very best wishes and love.
