On the fourth of July, 2007 Caleb Potter was involved in a skateboarding accident.
He suffered serious injuries and continues to need all of our positive thoughts and prayers.
This blog is to serve as a space for updates on Caleb's journey of recovery.

A Conversation

Taking a walk today with the ever fat Spudly dog and the impressive Caleb, we are rounding the corner and start down a hill.
At the bottom Caleb says.."that was fun"
And mom says Ya - we really started moving fast.
And Caleb says." .yes.... but I meant the sound..our footsteps were exactly the same all the way down..like two people and one sound"

We are climbing our way up and out of depression and are moving rapidly down the other side towards oneness...and I am finally getting the feeling that we will be fine!

Blessings to all of you.

My Dear Sharyn and Caleb,

You ARE FINE!

Day by day, step by step you find your way. What a privilege to witness your transformation (and ours through you) and allow us to share your journey.

What I have witnessed these many months is nothing short of a miracle, on so many fronts. You and your beautiful boys are always close in thought, and positive affirmations abound......

Sorry not to have connected when you came through our part of mid-coast MA, but completely understand....another day, perhaps. That first Sat. of your trip I was with Kim down at waters edge of Linekin Bay, and I saw this family of gulls flying over Lobster Cove, and thought of the adventures you must all be having, not to mention, high hilarity, and great companionship you all share with one another. Sounded like a true adventure! So glad you made the trip.

You remain close in thought and prayer....

Be well my Dears.

Con todo carino,

Melinda

I am glad that you are feeling more positive! I still check the blog all the time, and though I don't write comments often, I always absorb what you say and think about it over and over again... You are always in my thoughts and heart.

Tell your boys I miss them already. 2 weeks was much too short a visit :(

Love you!

Sharyn, I've really been touched by the things that you've written in the past weeks. What you wrote today is uplifting- I love how Caleb's voice comes through in what you write. He's always had a perspective on things that helps someone see things in a new way. Don't know if it's all downhill from here on out, but at least you're all together,

Love Neil

Sharyn,

You are always so willing to let us walk alongside you, and we are all stronger for it. You sound uplifted and centered, which such a loving mother deserves. I hope you and Caleb find something that lights you as you continue your walk together each day. Love, Lisa K.

I am happy to hear Spudly is getting his exercise and that sounds like something the "old" Caleb would say! Looks like things are going to be O.K. after all. Keep on truckin'.

And continued blessings to you. Caleb’s comment doesn’t surprise me. While things have been a bit confused over the past year you have often written of how the personalities and traits of your sons are complimentary to yours; individual musicians in a orchestra that is a family. While you have all been playing the music the timing has been off from one another. As things settle and you again pick up those unspoken cues from each other the timing reconnects and the music is as beautiful as ever.

Peace to you all on this rainy weekend.
